Frances de la Tour was born on July 30, 1944 in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire, England. She is the sister of the actor Andy de la Tour. She was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1984 (1983 season) for Best Actress in a Revival for the Moon for the Misbegotten. She was also awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1992 (1991 season) for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in When She Danced. She's most recently starred in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and the ensemble feature Love, Actually (scene deleted).
