The Spic-N-Spam Thread

I couldn't decide what to call this. I thought about doing "Spammy Hammies" or "Spam-a-lot" but those weren't very funny. Now, I want it to be strictly understood that this thread title is a word play on the cleaning product Spic-N-Span and is NOT a racial slur of any type. lol How terrible that we have to live in a world where I have to write a disclaimer like that!

You know that new Ben and Jerry's flavor Black and Tan? pudel tells me that the company had to release a statement explaining that the flavor title was named for a drink and was not a racial slur. Crazy, eh?

So anyway, as a continuation of our spamfest in Shadow's introduction thread, this is what I was going to show you guys:

http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i187/madeye_sob/peeweesnape.jpg

In skratchyourhead's legacy, sim-me is married to Snape! I know we have a daughter named Diane (which is odd and I forgot to tell you but I always thought if I ever had a daughter that I would like to name her Diana!) but that's all (legacy update please cough cough). Oh, and about the sticking-voodoome-in-pickle-juice thing, well...my friends would probably tell you that I'm sour enough already. :-) So in skratch's game, sim-me is apparently all in love with her husband (Severus Snape!), but in my game, this is how well I get along with my boyfriend Don Lothario:

We do need this thread. :spam: And now I've got the Monty Python spam skit running through my head. That whole Diane/Diana thing is really eerie. I was just on a run with names that started with "d," so she just ended up as Diane. Oh, and you have a son now, by the name of Draco. I think you'll like what I did with them. As for that legacy update, I plan on working on it tomorrow. Is that satisfactory? Vaguely? But no joke, you and Snape can't keep your hands off each other. As often as you roll up wants for seeing a ghost, or gaining skill points, you roll up wants for each other.

If I was married to Alan Rickman, it's guaranteed I couldn't keep my hands off him. I don't care if he's 60! The man is just hot. Hot!

Tonks will say it too. You'll notice if you go into the avatar gallery that there are way more Alan Rickman pictures as himself than of him as Snape. But there are more of Snape than any other of the movie teachers combined. I bet you can't tell that I put the avatar gallery together! lol But Snape proper, book Snape, doesn't turn me on at all. Greasy hair and dirty gray underpants? Yuck.

I made my simself fall in love with Don Lothario in my game on purpose. He had many girlfriends already and I figured it would be fun to see what would happen. My simself is fat in my game and has no body points because I would NEVER make myself exercise, and Don is a lean, mean fitness machine and has full body points, and yet whenever we fight I always win. Then he cries. It's funny. Very very funny. We fight and then make up and then he cheats on me again.

skratch, did I ever tell you that I downloaded your simself? I haven't played her yet, but... Do you feel safe with me having you in my game???

From the little I know of Skratch she seems reasonably intelligent, so I think having her simself in your game whould scare the bejizzlers out of her. Well it would me.

I've been pondering putting her into my legacy. It would be quite an honor--I've never put a simself in my legacy yet (I put myself in but that doesn't count--I called her Mammy Warbucks and she ran the orphanage). But her simself would end up dead in my legacy. They all do eventually... So I haven't done it yet. Maybe if I reverse age her into a kid she would survive. I'd have a hard time killing a child off.

Did you register your TS2 games online, pudel?

Well then you have a sim page too! You should tell us what your EA account name is and then we can find your simpage!

Ah, you must change your name every time you register. You must have four sim pages! I think I found one (the one you used to register University):

http://thesims2.ea.com/mysimpage/mysimpage.php?user_id=1349650

I only have one sim page. But one is good for me!

Well I don't spam in other forums. What are you going to do to me if I spam here? Fire me? Oh no, not that! lol

:spam::spam::spam:

Muahahahahahaha!

I only spammed in that other thread because it doesn't count for post count anyway. I don't mind spamming as long as it's just for spamming's sake, and not for post count increase purposes. ;-) Besides, we weren't spamming, we were having a conversation! There's a difference, you know. Spam is:

lol

or

I agree

or

:hammer:

And nothing else; basically spam doesn't add anything to a thread. I feel that our conversation added something valuable to the forums. Yes I do!

Of course they are. Mad-Eye always has words of wisdom for us.

I was just wondering last night (as I got ready to sleep with my light on and my wand under my pillow) whether or not you had downloaded me. And wondering about child me I had to open up my bodyshop and see what I would look like. And, if I do say so myself, I make a cute little kid. I look a bit bug-eyed, but I'm cute. :frog: I would be honored to be in your game, even if I did have to die. I would be honored to be in your game, despite the risks involved with such an honor.

Everyone has their own style of stories, and yours is phenomenal. I have trouble remembering who your base legacy family is most of the time. But see, your Legacy is a story, not a humerous rendition of the daily lives of these sims.

I will be working on my Legacy today, but I've got another 5 days before the youngest teenifies and can go to Uni. I still need to get the eldest into the Greek House, so that the others can just pop on in when they arrive. But I shall be working on that today, and with any luck, you'll have an update tonight, tomorrow, or Saturday. Sound good?

I'm gonna have to go back and look for Mammy Warbucks now. Oh, and peeps? Here's the link to Mad-Eye's stories. She's a genious:
http://thesims2.ea.com/mysimpage/uploads.php?user_id=483321&nstart=1&...

edit: I found her! Wow, I never woulda guessed. I think I need to get a simself of your avi or something. Make her all angsty and mean, maybe make her popularity or somethinig like that. I've been working on a dress for my avi, and I think I've got it now. So I'll be uploading her sooner or later. That will be fun. And she's cool looking, too.

That might be because friendly conversation adds to the fun of posting. The post fest yesterday was fun and informative. As people I have never met I have gathered Skrath and Shadow have good senses of humor and fun. The site will be more interesting for having them onboard.

Well when we all met three years ago or so I think that our "spam" conversating in threads is what made us as close as we are now. I know that Tonks and I in particular, when we first met, completely hijacked someone's introduction thread so we could talk about being "elder" fans of Harry Potter. I don't think that thread hijacking is such a terrible thing as long as you add something relevant to it first. Like a thread about the veil for instance I could say:

"I always wondered what was behind the veil and I think it has to be important to book seven. Harry was very drawn to it even before Sirius went through it and there was a reason that it was left such a mystery. What would have been the point of mentioning it if she was just going to leave it there, with no more said about its purpose?"

Then I could happily hijack the thread and say:

"So skratch, blah blah blah blah blah."

I don't think anyone could have a problem with that--talking about the main subject of the thread and then chatting a little with a friend. It's only when the thread becomes nothing BUT chat that it's a problem. At least I think so.

BTW, skratch, I ADORE your avatar. Sean Biggerstaff... *sigh* There is certainly nothing not to like about that boy! Did you ever see him in 'The Winter Guest'? He was maybe 12 and you could barely understand what he was saying, his accent was so thick. It's also got Emma Thompson in it and was directed by Alan Rickman.

Especially if it is noted who you are chatting to, because then if it does not pertain to you or to the topic you can ignore it if you wish.

Exactly, but I never mind if other people butt into my conversations as long as they have something interesting to say. I get annoyed especially at work when I'm having a conversation with someone and then someone else says "What?" Hello, not talking to you! Or else I think it's pretty rude when the person you're not talking to pulls the conversation so as to talk about themselves and only themselves. Where is the conversational etiquette, eh? That's a big pet peeve of mine. Yes, I might want to hear your story, but can you wait until my story is done before you butt in? That doesn't pertain to online chat though really since you can ignore their text if you want to.
