Blocked again and again until you learn to keep your mouth shut and your mind closed, Spammer!
So this is going to be the spoiler chamber version of the spam thread. We can't have book seven discussed in the regular spam thread in the Leaky
Cauldron anymore, so this is the solution for general chat about book seven now. It'll be safe from spoilers until midnight anyway, but after that I
wouldn't come in here if you haven't read the book.

That is not a spoiler, there's nothing from the epilogue in there, but I'm putting it in tags because I don't want to lead anyone in the wrong (or
right) direction.

spoiler text. | | No, I don't think so, because I expect the worst of Snape. See, I do
think he's on the side of the Order, Harry's side. I DON'T think he's on Harry's side just for the sake of being on Harry's side. I think he
truly does loathe if not hate Harry. But in the end I think he will show his true colors and do what's right for the side of good. That will help
Harry, but he won't be doing it to help Harry. |

Well I've finished as well in record time too. I never knew I could read that fast. I have such a pounding headache that I'm going to bed without
posting anything really. I will say that I'm totally destroyed by one of the deaths and skratch is going to be very upset that her Harry Potter ten
years later fan-fic is inaccurate now.

I have also finished, was quite upset by three of the deaths, felt the middle was a bit meandering but overall a good installment.
And yes you def do have the right version I have my book now.

I cried through the whole book, dude. It was very headachy for me. Usually I want to go right back to the beginning once I've finished (I even did
that with OotP) but I just can't do it.

The ending was so powerful and emotionally draining...I'm just not up to it. I don't know if I'm up to dragging through the tent/camping thing
either--that was so long, that section.

I just finished. I came home, read five chapters, and after reading the first paragraph of the sixth chapter at least twenty times, deciding I needed
to sleep.
All I have to say was that it was utterly brilliant!!! My favorite by far. I cried, a lot. I want to start re-reading, but I have to lend the book to
my Dad so there's no more "Oooh! DH book left attended, grab it!!" Lol.
I'm just really happy that it felt completed to me. I secretly hope she'll make a mini-tv series from the information in the epilogue, though.
*sigh* Did I mention it was brilliant?

This is by far my favorite book. It was brilliant, I agree. How could I have doubt JKR? I think she tied most of the big loose ends. But I would like
to have seen that the Dursley's were okay in the end. And it was good to see Lily's childhood. I was glad to see she and Petunia were close once.
And may I just say, "Go Mrs. Weasley!" I always knew she was a kick butt type of witch. Her whole family couldn't have been scared of just her
because of her bark!
I'll be re-reading it soon. And then I'll tell you my favorite part.
I think the camping was kind of necessary. I thought it was a bit long. Maybe she wanted us to fully understand Ron's reaction? That part was just as
hard for me to read as most of the deaths.
I REALLY liked the Dumbledore chat in the end. It reminded me of The Matrix though. Finally we get answers from Dumbledore!
I can't believe I was right about so many things. But I was wrong about one big thing. Oh well if I knew everything I'd be JKR. Wouldn't I?

Knowing everything that someone else knows and actually being that person is two completely different things.
Now that you mention it, it was a bit Matrix, but I loved it nonetheless. And I completely agree with you about Molly. I had everyone looking at me
funny when I read that part because I shouted "YES! GO MRS. WEASLEY!!!"
