Oh she wouldn't have taken it, the thing was to have been asked first.
I shouldn't have said anything about Simon--he had a massive outpouring of watery vomit this morning at 630 am. He was sleeping at the foot of my bed
and that weird sound he makes right before he does it woke me up out of a sound sleep so I could boot him out in time. Unfortunately he tried to jump
back up and I booted him again, then he jumped up again and streaked across the bed towards the door, outpouring the watery stuff the whole time, so
it got on my leg and I had to change the sheets anyway. It could have been a LOT worse though if I hadn't booted him out; it was at least sixteen
ounces of fluid. It's not like anything you've ever seen a cat do, it's like a geyser erupts from his mouth for 30 seconds--he doesn't even have
to heave it out. It just comes pouring out. It's really weird.

Poor kitty. Is he better now?
I had a trainee at work the past three nights. Tonight I'll be alone again. On Tuesday I work day shift.

Yeah he was alright last night, which was good considering my sister was sleeping on the couch and she would have had a very unpleasant experience had
she woken up to the vomiting.

I see her once a year, it's hard not to get along. She bought me a new phone and put me under her account so it's hard to pick a fight. I texted you
my new number but you never replied so maybe you changed your number since I put it in my old phone.

I think I have the same number but I don't recall a text from you. I sent you my current number.

Hum... last five posts are about phone numbers... I don't suppose either of you emailed your number to the other? Or would that be too
obvious?

Harry Potter, and JKR!
I can't believe I only have two weeks left of the summer semester. Where did it go!?

Summer has gone very fast. That's for sure. So has the year. I can't believe we're in August already!
ME I've attempted to send again. See if it worked.
We're going to see "Salt" today. I hope it's as good as it looks. Angelina Jolie usually picks good movies to be in though. So I'm hopeful.
I finished reading Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol". I liked it mostly, though I felt it dragged in parts. Those parts where he elaborated on
description either of what something looked like or of the history of the subject was tended to get too long. I was interested in the history but he
was a bit long winded. Also he ALWAYS had to extend the suspenseful parts a bit too long. I understood the reasons for the lengthy descriptions of
what the characters were seeing and thinking and I even appreciate the motive behind it. He wanted to be sure the reader saw what he saw. I think he
could have accomplished that with fewer words. Face it, no one can write rich, meaningful, and interesting description like Tolkien could.
So the next book I'm going to read is "Circle of Friends" ME recommended it years ago. And I promised I would read them. I've got "Jane Eyre"
in front of me now. But I read it already. Then my brother in law gave me 3 books by Jim Butcher. They look fairly interesting too. I watched the
first season of a British TV series based on them called "Dresden". I thought it was pretty good.
My first order of business is to gather all my information for work to prove I've done enough extra on the "Clinical Ladder" to receive a bonus.
It's due by the end of the month. I'll be working on that today and tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have enough to get it because I REALLY need it this
year.
I changed my theme to "Dumbledore" I'm really liking the muted colors. Maybe because of the recent migraine I had. My head is still sensitive. I
took enough meds to kill my liver in attempts to get over it yesterday. It still feels like it's lurking just beyond where I can feel it. I just hope
it stays away. I hate headaches!

I was sincerely pissed off about The Lost Symbol. I went through all that lousy exposition for an ending like THAT!? I thought I'd been punked.

I remembered you saying you weren't pleased with the book. It wasn't his best work. But it was okay.

I've been reading some old school romance novels that one of my drivers lent me. They're from the 70s and they are HILARIOUS! I don't think she
meant for me to read them as a joke; I think she was serious about how good they are. But I'm finding a joke in them. I don't know where she got the
idea that I read romance novels anyway--the only books she's ever seen me read are fantasy like Eragon, etc.

I don't have a grill. I'm thinking about sneaking over to Penny's house at 2 in the morning and using her grill.
